This script enables the current time in your location to be MANUALLY inserted into your transcript at regular intervals. (This is different from automatically inserting the current time, which you can read about here.) The setup process is fairly simple but the steps must be followed carefully.
Make your settings below to configure the appearance of the time. Your changes will reflect in the Preview window.
Once you have downloaded the .ahk file, you need to decide where to put it on your computer. You have two options:
EITHER
Place it in any random folder on your computer. You will then have to double-click it during every Windows session that you want to use CTRL-Shift-T to insert the current time. It will then work until you log out of Windows.
OR
Place it into your Windows Startup folder, then it will run every time you start Windows and you will never have to remember to run it manually. To find your Windows Startup folder, we offer a small file which you can download to anywhere on your computer and double-click it to open that folder automatically. Get it here.
When you have opened your startup folder, place inside it the .ahk file that you downloaded. Then restart your computer and your new key combination should work from then on.
