With the FTW Transcriber you can set the current date and time of day in your location to be inserted into your transcript manually, or automatically at regular intervals, or both. (This is completely different from inserting timestamps, which come from the file you are transcribing.) The current time of day is sometimes required in transcripts by clients for various reasons, for example for tracking purposes.
